Reelz to air Creative Arts Emmys

ReelzChannel will televise the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys on Sept. 17, one week after the event takes place at the Nokia Theatre and one night before the main Emmy telecast on Fox. For the 17th year, Spike Jones, Jr. will produce the show, which is appearing on Reelz for the first time. "I'm thrilled the Academy has asked me back for my 17th year," Jones said. "When I started producing this show there was only one 'Law and Order' and nobody knew Raymond." Reelz, which received 10 Emmy nominations -- the first nods in its history -- thanks to its presentation of miniseries "The Kennedys," has a national reach of 58 million homes.
